Good Citizen Award
The Good Citizen award is presented to students who show respect, kindness and responsibility to their teachers, classmates and school community. Recipients of this award are individuals who stand out among their peers and who also create a school climate that encourages others to display the same characteristics. BSMS is so proud of our Good Citizens.
Honor Roll
Student Athletes of the Week
Sandy Morley PE leadership Award
The Sandy Morley Physical Education Leadership award was created 40 years ago for students who have shown great character and integrity in their school and community. The actions of these students have inspired others to do their best and have shown what a great role model looks like. Their pursuit of excellence in Physical Education and their participation in sports has made them a great citizen in our Ballston Spa community. These 6 athletes are responsible and respectful of others and they make good decisions for themselves. They value learning, are physically active, and have a positive influence on their peers.
This award is really about how these individuals act and what they say to others. They were all nominated by the PE staff at Ballston Spa Middle School for these characteristics and we congratulate them on standing up for what is right, not what is always popular. Please keep leading the way you always have.. Today, Tomorrow, and in the future.
Congrats to you all!
We would like to recognize a few individuals and a teams with some end of the season highlights for MS athletes and sports. Congratulations to the Boys Modified Basketball Team on a great season. Our offense scored 52 points per game and stingy defense allowed 32 points per game resulting in a 13-1 record. It was always a team effort.
